Christmas Home Tour Featuring Viral Home Depot Trees

I’m excited to share my Christmas Home Tour today! I think I’m finally done decorating.

Back in November of 2022, I bought a massive tree for our first Christmas in our new home. I couldn’t wait to decorate… until I had to get the big boy ladder out of the shed because my step-stool wouldn’t cut it. Going up and down that ladder all afternoon gave my glutes a workout. However, this Nana was worn out by the end of the day.

After three years of wrestling with that tree, I did something completely different this year.

Let The Tour Begin!

Front Porch

I’ve had this garland for a few years, so I can’t provide a link.

The wreaths are from The Accidental Farmgirl Co. I purchased them last year. They are a little pricy, but the materials used and the excellent workmanship more than make up for the cost.

The Christmas Trees are from Home Depot. They are the 4-foot Grand Duchess Twinkling Balsam Fir trees.

Entryway

My entryway table has a reindeer theme, including this painting. If it’s out of stock, I also love this one! You can see the reflection of the dining room tree in the mirror.

You can find my console table here!

I have a long, wide entryway, and these beautiful chairs are also located there for extra seating; I absolutely love them. The small marble side table is the perfect place for another little Norfolk Pine tree.

The little tree, ribbon, and Pottery Barn-inspired planter are from Hobby Lobby. When you buy little trees like this, grab a pretty planter and add ribbon to really take it to the next level. I also added moss (from Hobby Lobby) to hide the small pots the trees come in.

I found the little trees and the planters in the floral area. They come in two sizes, and I got the bigger size. Also, the trees were not with the Christmas items.

Dining Room

The tree in my dining area is the Grand Duchess 7-1/2′ slim tree. This is the tree with all the family ornaments, including those made by the kids and grandkids—some old, some new, but all very special.

My table is decked out with a blue-and-green plaid Christmas tablecloth. It’s so pretty, and it’s my little nod to the Ralph Lauren Christmas craze.

I haven’t finished the tablescape yet, but I wanted to include a photo of the tablecloth. And, yes, it will be ironed. I just wanted you to see what it looks like.

This console table is decked out in blue and white, and I love these Blue and White Nutcrackers from Dillard’s. They were sold out, then I received an email that they were back in stock, and I immediately grabbed them.

Breakfast Nook And Kitchen Island

I’m keeping things simple in this room and in the kitchen area. Snowmen and greenery adorn the island.

The breakfast table is decorated in red and green. I’ll add my Christmas dishes after Thanksgiving.

Living Room Christmas Decor

In my living room, on either side of the fireplace, are tall windows. I decided to add four slim Grand Duchess Christmas trees from Home Depot – two on either side of the fireplace.

I chose the slim trees – two 9′ trees and two 6-1/2′ trees. I didn’t go with the flocked trees this year. Frankly, I don’t like the mess. I’m leaving them bare except for the lights. Yes, I did.

You should see the trees at night! The reflections of the lights in the windows are pure Christmas magic and remind me of my mom. She loved Christmas so much and passed that love down to me.

Mantel Decor

I like to keep things simple, and I love the soft touch garland I found on Amazon. I ordered two 9-foot garlands to get this look. The battery-operated twinkle lights complete the look.

The little berry clusters come in a package of 24. The berries add a touch of color and the finishing touch to the mantel.

My youngest grandson is only two, so I placed my Willow Tree Nativity on the mantel, out of reach. It would be too tempting for little hands.

Coffee Table Decor

I tend to keep things simple on the coffee table. The Norfolk Pine picks are from Amazon.

I’ve had the cow bells for several years, and they are also from Amazon.

This little Norfolk Pine tree, the distressed Terra Cotta Hobnail planter, and the ribbon are all from Amazon. My sister saw a photo of mine and immediately ordered it for herself.

I purchased the hand towel from Home Goods last year, and I’m sure they have a nice selection of Christmas-themed hand towels.
