Product Sources – Shop My Home
Hi! Welcome to the official website of My Modern White Farmhouse. I also share posts about my home on Instagram so make sure you click on my Instagram and follow along.
This is the page where you can find all of my product sources and shop items found in my home.
After 15-3/4 months, my husband and I have finally moved into our custom home on 10 acres in South Carolina.
Landscaping is next and we’re waiting on quotes. Here is the latest photo of our house.
Here is how it looked during our South Carolina snowstorm (ha, ha, don’t blink or you’ll miss the snow!)
In case you’re new here, this is where I list all the links to the products I have in my home. Some are affiliate links and some are not. I earn from qualifying purchases on affiliate links.
I often get asked about product sources and I only link to the products that I actually use and can stand behind.
As I purchase more decor/furniture, I’ll add the links.
I did not purchase these items all at once. As soon as the builder broke ground on our new house, I started ordering light fixtures, kitchen appliances, etc.
Also, because this is a new build, I have allowances in the contract – an amount I can spend on lighting, etc.
Thankfully, because this is a custom house, I’m able to shop around for steals and deals. Also, I have pro/business accounts (I own two websites) and receive discounts on many items.
I will not be purchasing all new furniture because I already own some of these items, but I’m linking them as well.
Special Note: These are trying times and sometimes you may find an item out of stock. I know I have. Patience is key!

To make it easier for you (and me!), I’m listing the products by room. If you have any questions about the product sources or about my house plan, etc., please leave a comment and I’ll get back to you ASAP.
Thanks for stopping by!!
P.S. Obviously we are not done with the house yet and I’ll add some photos once we are finished. I decided to go ahead and publish this page even though we haven’t moved in yet.
My House Plan
We purchased plan 16853WG from Architectural Designs. I then hired an architect to change a few things.
We changed from a slab to a crawlspace foundation. The stairs were changed from a circular staircase to an L-shape.
I nixed the peninsula in the kitchen and had the island enlarged. I also added double ovens and a cooktop.
We also went all the way to the ceiling with the cabinets (kitchen, pantry, butler’s pantry, laundry room).

The main L-shaped stairway is in the entryway. The treads are red oak, the risers are painted pure white by Sherwin Williams and the balusters are square-shaped black metal.
The bonus room stairs are also red oak with a red oak handrail.
The stain color is Duraseal Natural.
Dining Room Chairs – Alton Linen Tufted Square Back Dining Chairs from Home Depot (discontinued)
Pissini Euro Darin Wall Sconce (2)

We don’t have a bathroom in our bonus room so our plumber came up with a great idea. We turned a large storage closet at the bottom of the bonus room stairs into a mini 1/2 bath.
It’s perfect! And, no one has to run all the way across the house if they are in the bonus room and need to use the bathroom.
