Favorite Fire Pit Table

In a previous post, I mentioned that I was having a hard time deciding between a fire pit table and an actual fireplace for the pool area.

The thought of a real brick outdoor fireplace with a mantel stirs my heart but in reality, the initial cost is so much more than a fire pit. As I pondered the question, “How much will I actually use a real outdoor fireplace?” I came to the conclusion that I probably wouldn’t use it very much. If I change my mind, I can always add an outdoor fireplace to my wish list. 🙂

So after careful consideration, I decided to go with the Braxton  Polywood Seating Group which includes a fire pit table. I’m so glad I did. I purchased this group in white with marine indigo cushions.

At first, I had the grouping poolside, but I was concerned about the glass wind guard. I don’t allow any type of glass near my pool, so I decided to place this grouping on the lanai/back porch (it has high ceilings) and place the dining table and chairs beside the pool.

I like this setup much better and I think we will use it more since we can just step out the back door and it’s right there. Hopefully, the cushions won’t fade as fast as they would in direct sunlight.

What I Love About This Polywood Firepit Table

Polywood is made from durable high-density polyethylene – landfill-bound and ocean-bound plastic that will last for generations. This furniture also includes a UV-inhibited pigment system that helps maintain the colors throughout the material, not just on the surface.

Another plus –  this furniture is heavy, sturdy, weatherproof, and has a 20-year warranty. Yes, it’s expensive but I won’t be replacing it every 2-3 years. It’s built to last.

I love that the propane tank is hidden inside the table with easy access to the propane tank through a side door with a hidden hinge and strong magnetic latch. It’s so easy to turn on and off and you don’t even notice the on/off switch on the outside of the hinged door.

The fire pit table comes with clear glass gems. I did add some darker blue gems that I purchased from Amazon. Here’s my affiliate link for the gems. If you decide to purchase the gems, I will make a small commission at no extra cost to you.

The chairs are so comfortable and the cushions are plush and deep.

Polywood is easy to keep clean. I use a little Dawn Power Wash on a wet dishcloth on the Polywood.

I also made sure the glass wind guard came with this set. Some fire pits don’t include the wind guard.

Below are even more fire pit tables. If you don’t need the entire seating group, I’ve included some without the seating included. Check out these fire pits by clicking on the photos for more info.
