Caraway Cookware is all the rage and comes in so many pretty colors. I was gifted a set of cookware and bakeware from my kids last Christmas so I thought I’d do a review.

What is Caraway Cookware?

Caraway is safe, non-toxic ceramic non-stick cookware. It has a mineral-based coating that won’t leach toxic materials into the food you’re cooking.

According to their website, it’s free of “PTFE (such as Teflon®), lead, cadmium, and other toxic materials that can make their way into your food.”

The cookware and bakeware are also eco-friendly.

Why is this cookware so popular?

If you’re on social media, I’m sure you’ve seen Caraway cookware in all the pretty colors! The beauty of the cookware is what caught my attention. Then I headed to the website to check it out for myself.

Since my kitchen’s decor is navy and white with touches of gold, I fell in love with the white cookware with the gold handles.

I was thinking about how great those pots and pans would look in my kitchen. Then I saw the price and it stopped me in my tracks. I was like yeah, that’s going on my Christmas list.

I was pleasantly surprised on Christmas morning when I opened up the box of cookware and bakeware. My kids completely surprised me with these gifts. I’m including the links at the end of this post!

The bakeware doesn’t come in white but it does come in navy and I received the baking sheet duo and the ceramic cookware set.

Please Note: If you purchase this cookware, make sure you look through the entire box. I almost threw away the lid storage and I did throw away the hooks for the storage. Oops.

How To Care For Caraway Cookware

Hand wash with warm soapy water. Do not put this cookware or bakeware in the dishwasher.

Metal utensils can damage the non-stick coating. Make sure you use wooden, silicone, plastic, or nylon utensils. Don’t use a knife to cut in the pans or bakeware.

I had to have a talk with my husband after I heard the faint sound of a fork barely touching one of the baking pans as he was removing bacon. 🙂 Metal utensils are a no-no.

My Caraway Cookware and Bakeware Set Review

So, how do I like my new cookware set?

At first, as I do for all shiny and new objects, I wanted to baby the pots and pans and not let anyone touch them except me. Am I the only person like that?

Now that the newness has kinda worn off, I’m not as jumpy (or crazy?).

First of all, I love the color selection. I have white with gold handles cookware and navy on the bottom, gray on top bakeware.

I absolutely love the ceramic non-stick coating. Nothing sticks to these pots and pans and they are a breeze to clean. I’ll add to this review in a few months if anything changes.

I have a gas cooktop so the bottom of the pots and pans can get black spots on them while I’m cooking. So far, they have come right off with my Scrub Daddy sponge and Dawn Power Wash.

I have noticed a few minor scratches on the outside bottom of one of the skillets. However, with the bottoms coming in contact with flames every single day, it’s to be expected.

There is also a long scratch on the bottom of my largest bakeware pan. Of course, I blame my husband for the bakeware scratch. He uses it more than I do.

Now that the one bakeware pan has a scratch, I find myself not babying it as much. That doesn’t mean I’m reckless, it just means I’ll let my husband wash it.

When it comes to cookware, it seems like I’ve tried them all. I’ve been cooking for a long time! From Calphalon to Staub and everything in between, Caraway is up there at the tip-top.

Would I Purchase This Cookware Again?

Well, I didn’t purchase the first set, but yes, I would.

For the record, when I was in Sam’s the other day, I saw a dupe of this cookware for a lot less. It also comes in several different colors. You can click the photo below to check out the Sam’s Club version.

Please Note: I haven’t purchased or used the set at Sam’s so I have no idea if it’s the same quality as the Caraway. But if you’re in the market for cookware, there are several copycats out there that are not as expensive.

I don’t have the food storage set yet but I have my eye on it. Sounds like a great Mother’s Day gift!
